June 1 (My Birthday Girl)

Well... thanks everybody for the great birthday wishes! today has been such a great day already! haha dia de preparacion :) I am so grateful for the love that I have received!!

It all started out with a cute little letter from Hermana Falcon :) when got to our reunion de zona and they suprised me with pastel! Hermana Garcia called and sang to me as well. We also met up with Monsie, a future missionary that just got her call to honduras (she is from one of the areas of hermana falcon) we got to eat lunch together and share some of our missionary experiences and get her excited for the mission!! she is facing lots of trials because her famiy isnt supportive of her decsion. It made me so proud and grateful to see her and her decision and to know that there are thousands of missionaries out here in this great work making so many sacrifices to share what they know. The gospel is true.

This week has been super fun. I actually really like new situations! I miss kanasin like crazy.. that has been hard and being away from all of them. but we were welcomed with loving arms here in motul. i love pueblos! i love these people! it is sooo easy to love them. the ward is GREAT! so anxious to help us and to work! we are just working on finding people. the hermanas that were here only had 2 investigators so we are working on finding more. we are on the hunt :) its making it fun! last night we went with some jovenes to go contact their friends to invite them to a noche de hogar that we will on wednesday. it was super fun!

weve gotten lost about a million times, but its fun. makes good opportunities to contact. motul is SOOO pretty! so green there are trees everywhere! its pretty similar to kanasin, but there are less people who drink here in motul. its pretty small. there are 2 wards that assist here. we are motul 2, there are elders in the other ward. i think everyone here has heard the missionaries before. haha thats been the hard thing. we talk to people and theyre like oh yea ive already heard your message. so we are brainstorming ways we can share the gospel in another way. like inviting to activities and stuff so we can hook them in. :) there are so many ways to share the gospel! we just gotta be creative.

Hermana Falcon is awesome. I am learning so much from already! shes super fun as well. :) last night there was LOTS of rain. we were leaving from the church and we but garbage sacks over ourselves so we could be protected a little bit.

Sorry this letter is a little scrambled, cutting time short today. LOVE YOU ALL!!

so happy to be 20 :)
